Thank you for visiting my Blog. As I write this first entry, it’s hard for me to believe that PhotoWalks has entered its 6th season. It’s been an amazing journey. I had no idea where my entrepreneurial dream was going to take me, but I braced myself for the twists and turns of the ride. What an experience it’s been so far.

On May 1, 2002, PhotoWalks began with only two tours: Beacon Hill Masterpieces and Postcards of Boston. Four days later, I was so excited to receive my first phone call for a tour of Beacon Hill. Over 100 people took a photo tour by the time first season ended. PhotoWalks has come a long way since then. Believe it or not, I consider my first season one of my greatest successes. The business was new, there was little publicity or Internet exposure and over 100 people somehow found PhotoWalks. Today, there are five PhotoWalks tours and plans are in the works for tours in other cities.

The greatest joy that has evolved out of PhotoWalks for me is meeting so many wonderful people over the years. We meet as strangers and end up having a connection after walking around Boston for less than two hours. Thank you so much for your support, interest, and enthusiasm. You encouraged me to launch more photo tours and expand my business. I am thrilled to receive your e-mails with creative pictures. I have also learned from so many of you too! Sharing our knowledge with one another is so rewarding, isn’t it?
