Public Garden Photo Tour

Create your own "postcards of Boston" and learn how to photograph the Public Garden's visual splendor using PhotoWalks' creative photography tips. Capture the colorful flowerbeds, statues, fountains and the legendary Swan Boats in the first botanical garden in America.

The Public Garden's meandering pathways leads us out to the Charles River Esplanade where scenic views of the Cambridge skyline are waiting to be discovered. (Some tours may end in Beacon Hill or Back Bay during peak spring season.)

Each Photowalks tour is designed to show locals and visitors alike the city's photo opportunities with instruction on creative composition skills.

Most tours are conducted in a small group setting for a more personalized experience. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Adults: $40 | Youth (10-17): $20 with paying adult.

The PhotoWalks Guide to Creative Photography is included in the tour price. This valuable booklet provides user-friendly information on getting the most out of your digital camera using various camera settings and concepts such as: aperture, shutter speed, ISO and white balance. And, for the adventurous: how to use the manual setting!
